My favorite holiday…

I won’t save you from the tired cliché of mentioning how the holidays are nothing but excuses for us to consume and feed the very corporations that are turning us away from what these holidays were originally about. But I’ll do my best not to kick a dead horse. While these holidays used to be about family, loved ones, and community; today, these have become lost over the years and are but a mere illusion at surface level. So my favorite holidays are the ones I take for myself to get away from people while chillin at the Holiday Inn and listening to Dead Kennedy’s Holiday in Cambodia. Talk about a holy day.
