Daily writing prompt
What advice would you give to your teenage self?

It doesn’t matter what I would tell my teenage self. He was more stubborn than I am now and would never listen to anyone, especially myself. Stewing over regrets is pointless unless you’re trying to gain insight and put an end to self destructive patterns. It doesn’t matter whether you could go back in time to fix things. You would still feel the same emotions that led you to take such actions, thus making the same mistakes again. The choices you made are what make you who you are today. If you’re not happy with that person then you may as well join up with the mentally ill transgender people who pay thousands of dollars to change their appearance thinking it will make them happy. Change what you want on the outside, it doesn’t matter; you’re still gonna be the same miserable fuck until you accept who you are.
